3 Day Stillness Retreat
Journeying inward into the Source of true love, spiritual power and joy
(300 hour YTT)

Ecstatic Yoga, sacred embodiment is a whole harmonious hatha/Tantra/Kriya style lineage.
Grace, founder began practicing yoga at Kripalu Center since the 1980’s, become a yoga instructor in 2007 and founded Ecstatic Yoga in 2017.
​
Grace has taught yoga in United States, Central America and all over the world. She also leads Peace Dance’s and humanitarian projects globally.
​
Ecstatic yoga draws from the Hatha, Tantra and Kriya yogic philosophies and includes lessons, practices in the below areas of interest.
Asana… yin, poses, sequencing
Meditation & pranayama, mudra & chant
Body Temple… anatomy and subtle body
Analytics… how to lead a class, move into a pose?
Kriya & Tantric Yogic lessons, practices & philosophy
Ceremony, dance & movement

You can structure your yoga teacher training in a few ways.

Meditation, yin asana, self-love, and connecting to our innermost Truth and highest Divine guidance.
Day One
8 -10 am
Yin Asana Practice;
Bandha’s, restorative poses, dirge pranayama, yoga nidra
Pranayama & Meditation
Breath awareness, abdominal breathing, 3 part yogic breath
Mindfulness meditation with anchor on the breath
10 am – Noon
Philosophy discussion: Vedantic Map of the Mind, Overview of Patanjali’s 8 Limbs
Kriya Practice; Calming the nervous system, balancing the nadi’s
Noon -1 pm
Mindful eating and contemplation, journaling, walking meditation, resting
1 pm- 2:30 pm
Stillness lesson and practice;
Mindfulness basics, hand mudras
We will review mudras from the 200 hr training and introduce 5 new hand mudras. We will discuss using yoga and the intentions of the mudra in alignment with what our body/Spirit most needs for each practice. We will discuss the intentions and uses of each hand mudra. We will consciously use the hand mudras throughout the retreat, unless guided otherwise, always listening to your inner guide above all.
Group discussion & share
We will discuss intentions for each student, with a focus on mindfulness, self love, and connecting to our innermost Truth and highest Soul guidance.

Mindful movement
Peace Dance
Mindful movement & meditation practice
4 pm – 5 pm
Body Temple; Nadi’s; Activating Shushumna, the Great River or Kundalini
Group discussion: Nadi’s and subtle nervous system
5 pm -7:00 pm
Rapture & Samadhi
We will conclude day one of the retreat with a music meditation allowing and inviting higher more expanded states of awareness, joy and rapture. To merge with the Divine of your understanding together as a group, activating greater power and more guides, counsels, angels, ancestors, beings of the light. Concluding with a journey to Samadhi, basking in the anandamaya kosha or bliss body.
Day Two
8 -10 am
Yin Asana Practice;
Prana Vayus, Salutations & restorative poses, ujya breath, yoga nidra
Pranayama & Meditation
Balancing; samavritti, nadi shodhana, viloma
Mindfulness meditation with anchor on an inner mantra
10 am – Noon
Philosophy discussion: Vedantic Patanjali’s 8 Limbs, Yamas & Niyamas
Kriya Practice; Activating the third eye through mantra
Noon -1 pm
Mindful eating and contemplation, journaling, walking meditation, resting
1 pm- 2:30 pm
Stillness lesson and practice;
Mindful Communication
We will discuss tools and awareness of communicating through loving kindness, empowered, honest communication that creates love and connection.
Group discussion & share
We will discuss insights, shares and questions about mindful communication.
2:30 pm – 4pm
Earth Walk
Circle Dance’s 4Peace
4 pm – 5 pm
Body Temple; Chakras, spinning energy systems 7 major chakras and their properties and aspects, how they effect and sustain our energy body.
Tantra Practice; Balancing the Chakras, Opening to Purusha
Group discussion: Chakras and subtle nervous system
5 pm -7:00 pm
Rapture & Samadhi
We will conclude day one of the retreat with a music meditation allowing and inviting higher more expanded states of awareness, joy and rapture. To merge with the Divine of your understanding together as a group, activating greater power and more guides, counsels, angels, ancestors, beings of the light. Concluding with a journey to Samadhi, basking in the anandamaya kosha or bliss body.
Day Three
8 -10 am
Yin Asana Practice;
Moving through the 8 Limbs asana journey
Asana practice focusing on the 3rd limb, asana, poses, practice
Pranayama & Meditation
Moving through limb 4 pranayama with breath of fire, kapalabhati and abdominal breathing.
Mindfulness meditation with anchor on the breath
Moving to limbs 5 and 6 dharana and dyana… concentration on a sense… sound, touch, etc and releasing into meditative awareness and samadhi.
10 am – Noon
Philosophy discussion: Patanjali’s Limbs 3-8
Tantric Practice; Activating the sushumna nadi and awakening kundalini
Noon -1 pm
Mindful eating and contemplation, journaling, walking meditation, resting
1 pm- 2:30 pm
Stillness lesson and practice;
Mindful Relationships
We will discuss and include all forms of relationships and expressions of relationships… people, time, money, intimacy, nature, self, Self and Divine Source.
Group discussion & share
We will discuss thoughts, insights and questions about mindful relationships.
2:30 pm – 4pm
Cacao sacred plant medicine Ceremony; Self Love
Group ceremony is a powerful way to amplify our personal, community and global intentions. We will create sacred space and journey into the depths or our own being.
Ceremonies include; plant medicine cacao, heart opener and purifier, connects us to our Divine True Nature
Intention, Asana, breathwork, meditation, ecstatic movement, rapture and samadhi.
4 pm – 5 pm
Body Temple; Physical Nervous System
Group discussion: Physical nervous system and subtle nervous system
5 pm -7:00 pm
Closing circle
A review of all we learned, the connections we made and movement toward our dreams and goals. Self love exercise, sharing and certificates.

Asana, Pranayama, Meditation & Kriya Practice
We begin each day with asana, pranayama, meditation and a kriya practice using yogic techniques to quiet the mind and refine the energy.
10 am-Noon​​
Philosophy Lesson & Discussion
We will discuss the philosophy of Patnajali's 8 Limbs of Yoga and move into a discussion gleaming everyone's insights and knowledge.
Noon-1 pm​
Mindful Eating & Contemplation​
We will practice mindful eating in silence with time to contemplate, journal or practice walking meditation.
1 pm-2:30 pm
Stillness Lesson, Practice & Discussion
We will learn about mindful eating, communication relationship and messages from John. We will share our wisdom and experiences in conversation & discussion.
2:30 pm-4 pm
Mindful Movement
A fun playful time moving in awareness in our bodies, we will include ecstatic movement, asana and analytics
Peace Dancing
Circle dancing is a devotional & joyful community practice that opens the heart and invites personal, community & global peace.
Ceremony 4Peace
Ceremony strengthens and empowers our intentions. We will practice sacred ceremony with an intention of aligning with our highest divine design for our life at this time.

Intro to the subtle body
Balancing the Nadi's Practice

Rapture Meditation & Samadhi
We will conclude our day with meditation expanding our energies in joy& rapture and a final and powerful integration of all we practiced with a deep samadhi meditation basking in the bliss body or anandamaya kosha.
