Integrous & Strong Relationships

Let us take time to contemplate our relationships.

​

I have a friend who interviewed over 100 wealthy individuals and everyone of these wealthy people mentioned that healthy connections and relationships are one of the most important essentials to acquiring wealth and living an abundant life.

​

This is reflected in all aspects of life and nature. A tree that thrives depends on many healthy relationships in order to survive and thrive. The root system within the earth is supported by huge communities of worms, bugs, micro-organisms, minerals and water. The rays of sun, the rainwater, and carbon dioxide that all support the life of this tree. The animals, birds, insects and micro-organisms that live amongst the tree’s branches, leaves and bark. A tree relies on an entire community to sustain and thrive.

We also rely on a community that sustains our life. As we eat a meal, it has taken a community of people, things and circumstances to come together to make the meal possible. Seeds were planted to create food, the food grew relying on the community that lived in the soil and environment, the harvest needed to be picked, unless farm to table the harvest delivered to the market, once purchased and taken home someone needed to cook and prepare this food for your meal.

Keeping harmonious relations, peaceful relations with all beings is important to living an abundant life.

We never know who we will need help from in our future. Who will help us get a loan approved, a car battery jumped, a letter of recommendation. We may run into a person on a bus, and that person quickly took the seat you had an eye on and was clearly headed for. You choose to remain the non-reactive presence, smile rather than give them the finger and find yourself another seat. A week later that person is at the bank approving a loan you had applied for, or maybe on a jury who will decide your future. Because you choose to keep peaceful relations and not react in negativity you get the loan or the freedom you desire.
